This presentation will describe the PHN and Environment Section Councils' introduction to the public health potential for this inter-sectional collaborative partnership. It will provide an overview of efforts to build APHA infrastructure to support this important collaboration, plans for Annual Meeting joint program sessions and business meetings, and the anticipated long term potential for the two Sections, APHA, and public health.
