The session will highlight activities supporting the second goal of the Healthy People 2010 initiative "Eliminating Health Disparities". The first presentation will focus on the Office of Minority Health's efforts to eliminate disparities and the development of the HHS Health Disparities Council. The second presentation will focus on the Steps to a Healthier Nation grant recipient who have projects focusing on disparities. The last speaker will discuss some of the progress achieved in Healthy People 2010 and the upcoming challenges. | |||
