The poster session will include presentations on women's health in a social context. The posters include formative, qualitative, theory-based, epidemiological, and intervention research methods. The topics of the posters are breast and cervical cancer, intimate partner violence, sexual and reproductive health, mental health, substance abuse, and HIV. All these topics are relevant to women's health and can be considered from a social perspective. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the poster session, the participant will be able to: (1) Discuss women's health issues in a broad sense; (2) Identify important social factors that affect women's health; and (3) Report on women's health topics including breast and cervical cancer, intimate partner violence, sexual and reproductive health, mental health, substance abuse, and HIV. | |||
