| It is an exciting time for public hospitals across the country. Having spent the 1990s making hard choices and reducing costs, the new millennium provides an opportunity for public hospitals and health care systems to build upon a strengthened and streamlined infrastructure. In this session, participants will hear about innovative measures, such as open access scheduling, dramatically reducing visit ‘cycle’ time and restructuring group practice governance structures, taken by three multi-site public systems. | |||
