The papers presented in this session cover innovative concepts in the vision care and oral health professions. The selected papers represent current issues within the professions and reflect changes in thinking or new ideas that will impact each profession in the future. | |||
Learning Objectives: Following this session the attendee will be able to articulate several "forward thinking" ideas and concepts in vision and oral health such as: 1. Understanding current opinion of children wearing contact lenses, using fluoride programs in schools, and educating children about oral health, 2. Understanding workforce issues in optometry, and 3.
