Complementary and Alternative Therapies (CAM) are used widely for many issues effecting women's health, specifically reproductive health concerns. This panel discussion brings together both clinicians and researchers who will discuss the prevalence of CAM and specific CAM modalities used by women to prevent and treat various reproductive health and menopausal conditions. Panelists include Paula Gardiner, MD and Aviva Romm, AHG. | |||
Learning Objectives: After attending this session, participants will be able to 1) describe indications for CAM effecting women's health, including clinical observations and research findings in regard to the treatment and prevention of disease; and 2) discuss the association of key demographic variables and CAM use among American women. | |||
