This session focuses on different ways to strengthen safe motherhood programs in Egypt including developing community health committees, monitoring utilization, and creating surveillance systems. In addition the session will address practical lessons in replicating successful MCH programs in other countries. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, participants will be able to (1) identify attributes of successful safe motherhood programs; (2) discuss the uses of a surveillance system for managing safe motherhood programs; and (3) explain the importance of monitoring utilization rates. | |||
