Problem: Many of the men who are among the regular participants in Project Brotherhood, a multidisciplinary men's health program designed to integrate black men into health care. Project Brotherhood offers an array of services that, in combination, offer a comprehensive circle of health, mental health, job readiness, HIV testing and education, and a complimentary hair cut. Over time, we have learned that there are disproportionate numbers of men who return to the community who are in need of social services. These men who are disenfranchised due to several issues, i.e. criminal justice, and drug use, who are in need of opportunities to develop the tools and skills to become successful in the utilization of the health care system.

Action: A program has been implemented to help the men to receive a full range of primary care, and social services to improve the health of these men. A seven month plan is to document the implementation process of the program and measure the participant's knowledge, attitude and behavioral changes of the men.

Conclusion: An Analysis will be made of the implementation process of the program, the instructor's strengths; participants pre/post test responses along with evaluation surveys. This process will help us understand what can be accomplished by integrating social services within the health care setting.
