Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this presentation the participant will be able to

• Understand the extent to which expected therapy duration varies as a function of a client's HIV serostatus,
• Understand the characteristics of psychotherapists that are associated with differences in therapy duration expectations, and
• Incorporate guidelines for therapy duration into existing HIV mental health programs.
