• How the WHO and Ministries of Health coordinate following a natural disaster.
• To learn about the unique challenges encountered by citizens of the Maldives and Thailand following the January, 2005 Tsunami.
• To learn about how local and national departments of health worked collaboratively to address mental health, housing, and social issues
• following the Tsunami.
• To learn about how multinational corporations are rising to the challenges to work in partnership with NGOs, governments and UN agencies to provide resources to address the overwhelming needs of the population.
