This session will allow students to explore the field of public health and find ways to enhance their academic training through presentations by prominent public health figures. It will also give attendees an opportunity to consider their future in public health. Participants will learn what qualities and experiences employers are seeking in potential employees and how best to network and identify employment opportunities in their field of interest. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, the participant will be able to: 1) Identify ways to enhance his/her academic training, 2) Develop plans to assess career goals and opportunities, and 3) Infer implications for his/her own career in public health. | |||
