An efficient delivery system should satisfy the needs of the population it serves in the best way possible. There is a growing concern about the ability of the current dental delivery system to address the oral health needs of the U.S. population. Opportunities exist for improving the delivery and financing of oral health care services through more effective interactions among the different stakeholders.
Learning Objectives: 1. Discuss project strategies and recommendations to improve current dental public health initiatives. 2. Discuss collaborative efforts required to improve oral health. 3. Describe alternative systems to prepare oral health professionals to treat people with special needs
