Session: Pathways Of Environmental Exposure
3232.0: Monday, December 12, 2005: 2:30 PM-3:30 PM
Poster
Pathways Of Environmental Exposure
This poster session will highlight a variety of efforts to delineate environmental exposure pathways, potential health risks, and prevention opportunities. In particular, many of the efforts focus on vulnerable populations. The findings from these efforts are aimed at helping researchers to focus their investigations on further exploration of specific pathways of environmental exposures and to develop community interventions aimed at decreasing this risk.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session participants will: 1.Identify components of exposure pathways; 2. Recognize exposure risks to a variety of environmental hazards; and 3. Articulate current research strategies to document a variety of environmental exposures
