| Ten different posters have been accepted focusing on a variety of topics. Three address agriculture – one on poultry wastes, one on animal hoarding, and fertilizer use on agriculture lands. Posters on malathion spraying, dampness in homes and schools, mosquito control and particulate matter. One poster looks at lead glaze products in Hispanic communities. Environmental sources of salmonella and biomass combustion and anemia are also covered by this session. | |||
| Learning Objectives: 1. Learn about research and studies occurring in other states and regions on various environmental health issues. 2. Discover the health impacts that various chemicals and toxics in the environment have on humans. 3. Gain an understanding on how research is conducted by peers. | |||
