Health communication strategies generally include tailoring for specific audiences. However, health communication for minority communities must include not only the usual considerations of communication channels but also cultural adaptations. The speakers in this session will describe health communication activities among specific communities, including Hmong, Hispanic/Latino and African-American. Presentations will describe the communities and the considerations made in developing effective health communication messages. | |||
