Risk communication is an important strategy for influencing public perceptions and behaviors related to various health risks. Effective risk communication relies upon specific principles and methods. The speakers in this panel will describe risk communication activities addressing various health risks, from bioterrorism threats to chronic disease. This session will discuss the importance and implications of risk communication for public health. | |||
