Domestic and intimate partner violence is a serious public health problem. Domestic and intimate partner violence can include physical or sexual violence, threats of physical or sexual violence, and psychological or emotional abuse. This session discusses many of the issues related to preventing, tracking, and helping those that have been affected by this problem. | |||
Learning Objectives: Describe the features of the encounter with a health care professional that women who have experienced intimate partner violence find helpful.
