Little is known about the long-term health risks posed by the growing use of genetically engineered seeds in the U.S. and internationally. This session features The Future of Food, by Deborah Koons Garcia (2004; 90 min.), a film that explores the implications of the profusion of genetically engineered crops in the U.S. and Canada. | |||
Learning Objectives: As a result of attending, participants will have increased knowledge of the topics raised in the films; and will understand the vital role that film and video can play in addressing public health and international health issues. | |||
