Public Health Social Work Standards
This session will cover public health social work standards, its origin and how to use them to guide workforce development.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: 1. Understand the definition of a standard and competency. 2. Describe the current public health social work standards and competencies. 3. Discuss how to apply the public health social work standards and competencies in their workplace. 4. Discuss how to use the standards and competencies to guide workforce development. 5. Create a plan for developing job specific competencies in delivering public health social work services.
