Innovative Strategies in Developing Public Health Nursing Capacity
This session will provide an overview of several strategies to improve public health nursing practice. Also, measures to increase public health nursing capacity in rural, acute care, and primary care settings will be discussed.
Learning Objectives: 1. Examine the relationship between public health infrastructure improvement and indicators of emergency preparedness. 2. Discuss strategies to improve public health nursing infrastructure. 3. Describe the affect of policy changes on public health nursing infrastructure.
