Physical inactivity and tobacco use can lead to poor health and poor quality of life. This session will examine these health risk behaviors among vulnerable populations. Protective factors and risk factors for these behaviors will be examined. Strategies to decrease the prevalence of physical inactivity and tobacco use will be discussed. | |||
Learning Objectives: 1. Identify public health interventions to increase physical activity. 2. Evaluate the effectiveness of public health nursing interventions to increase physical activity. 3. Describe protective factors and risk factors for youth to participate in health risk behaviors. | |||
