This session provides an overview of several strategies that are in place to diversify the nursing population. Recruitment and retention of minority students in nursing schools are discussed. The University of Illinois at Chicago's Career Ladders program, Discover Nursing program, and the Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering program are highlighted. | |||
