Virginia Commonwealth University offers graduate degrees in public health, epidemiology, community health nursing, and other nursing specialities. The School of Nursing and the VCU Department of Epidemiology and Community Health (DECH) offer a dual degree MPH/MS in Nursing program (2 years full-time study), which includes an entry option for the non-nurse college graduate. Doctoral programs in Nursing and many other MS in Nursing specialties are also available. The DECH offers Virginia's only PhD program in epidemiology, along with a fully accredited MPH Program with tracks in epidemiology, environmental health, addiction studies, and general studies.
