How hospitals, government and NGOs can work together: A case study of collaboration on medical waste technology management

This presentation will define some working parameters for collaboration between industry, government, and the non-profit sector. A case study will be used to show the potential public health benefits of such a collaboration, and specific methods that can be implemented to instill the trust necessary to make such a collaboration work. The case study will focus on a successful collaboration to identify the potential public health impacts of different medical waste treatment options.
