• Incorporate a brief screening question into their daily .
• Engage clients in motivationalconversations, assess readiness to change, elicit sources of resilience.
• Develop an action planbased on the client's self identified priorities that incorporates strategies to overcome potential barriers to change.
• Identify the systems changes that are necessary to support SBIRT program in either a public health or clinical setting.
