• Select an alcohol or drug screening test that is appropriate to their needs.
• Use the WHO AUDIT and ASSIST screening instruments, alone and in conjunction with laboratory test findings.
• Determine the best ways to obtain accurate screening information
• Plan the implementation of a screening program
