This session will focus on lessons learned and best practices from nearly ten years of experience with community coalitions working to reduce and prevent underage drinking. The presentations will include recommendations for using a strategic approach that addresses the political elements of alcohol policy reform; examples from the AMA Reducing Underage Drinking Through Coalitions project; case studies from Pennsylvania and Connecticut; and methods to evaluate the impact of community organizing to pass policy.
