Health Disparities: What We Know and Need to Learn from Research

Despite the increased public attention given to health disparities issues in recent years, racial and ethnic minority groups continue to experience higher disease burden and lower quality of care for many health conditions compared to their white counterparts. This introductory presentation will assess the current state of the field in health disparities research, identifying both strengths and weaknesses in the current evidence base regarding disparities.
