From Research to Action: Reducing Perinatal Mortality and SIDS Risks in Multiple Settings
The purpose of this session is to explore new and innovative research and programmatic efforts aimed at reducing infant and perinatal mortality in the United States.
Learning Objectives: 1. Describe innovative approaches to reducing SIDS risk in multiple settings. 2. Discuss the major risk factors for perinatal mortality. 3. Assess the effect of changes in the classification of births at the limits of viability on infant mortality rates.
