Commonalities and Differences in the Experiences of Diverse Immigrant Populations in the US, including those from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe
This series of posters will examine diverse issues related to refugee and immigrant health. Programs and health disparities discussed include: health promotion among Hispanic/Latino immigrants and African Americans, the health status of adolescents near Beirut, cervical cancer screening rates by country of origin, community-based programs for survivors of torture, care of diabetes and hypertension in Korean Americans and refugee participation in camp public health programs.
