Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be ble to (1) identify recent innovations in performance measurement and reporting initiatives used in hospitals and other health care settings; (2) understand how these new initiatives interface with other accountability tools such as accreditation and performance standards; and (3) assess the implementation and impact of these initiatives on health care quality, efficiency, and equity.
