This session is designed to demonstrate evaluation methods for faith and health projects. The models presented will include micro evaluations in relationship to social equity, patient navigation programs and older adult health improvement projects. | |||
Learning Objectives: Identify the successful components of a patient navigation program and apply them to patient navigator programs in other settings. Discuss a program designed to enhance the spiritual, psycho-social, intellectual, and physical health of older adults in multi-ethnic small groups within congregations, with a larger goal of enhancing their ministry to their communities. Discuss the conceptual confounding of religiosity, morality and health risk behaviors, become familiar with social equity issues related to college achievement among first-generation students and critique the notion of moral compass and micro-level human rights. | |||
