During these times of unprecedented challenge to public health, collaboration to support community health goals, assure resources, and work toward the common goals of health for all, alliance and mutual are more vital than ever and have historically moved communities to effective public health action. The MPHI Session reports on the progress and next steps in renewing and developing the Medicine and Public Health Initiative and allied Institute (MPHI) network of health professionals, researchers, and educators within states, nationally and internationally. This year we are focusing on developing collaborative networks within States and across nations, We invite all interested parties to attend and participate. See www.mphi.net MPHI’s major goal is bridging the gaps between clinical, community, and public health approaches through cooperative programs. There is a joint emphasis on the three themes of education, applied research, and community based practice both domestically and internationally. We are extending the collaborative network to states and local chapters as critical to influencing and facilitating improving community health levels. | |||
