| APHA is offering an advocacy training track at the Annual Meeting for attendees who want to become stronger public health advocates. Sessions will cover how to write and submit policy, how to work with the media, communicating with legislators, mobilizing a campaign around a public health issue and advocacy law. Speakers just confirmed for the media session include Stephen Smith, Boston Globe; John Lauerman, Bloomberg News; Allan Coukell, WBUR-FM (NPR); and Harro Albrecht, Die Zeit (German newspaper). | |||
