Public and private partnerships are a key strategy for CDC to reach its health protection goals, leverage its resources, and achieve its mission. For CDC, partnerships enable the agency to collaborate with others to address challenging issues and reach new populations. CDC promotes and strives to achieve the highest standards of excellence in public/private partnership practices and services to ensure that they are high-impact, science-based, and customer-centered. To achieve maximum health impact, it is imperative that CDC actively seek and leverage public/private partnerships throughout the agency in support of CDC health protection goals.
Learning Objectives: The purpose of this meeting is to provide a forum for public health system and academic partners and CDC to discuss best practices, with the goal of strengthening public and private partnerships.
