This interesting session will focus on the response to recent gulf coast hurricanes. Presentations will cover topics such as post Hurricane Katrina infectious disease surveillance, as well as hurricane mortality in Florida over the last 2 years. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Describe a procedure and format for collecting infectious disease surveillance data as related to disaster epidemiology 2.
