Though communities of color have been the focus of myriad forms of HIV prevention, research, and treatment, Asian and Pacific-Islander communities have received less attention than Latino or African-American populations. This session will focus on the particular HIV prevention and treatment needs of API men and women. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Identify 3 determinants of risk behavior among API communities. 2. Recognize the role of gender in the experiences of HIV-affected API communities. | |||
