As HIV continues to both infect and affect individuals in the US, groups at particular risk for HIV infection have come to the attention of public health practitioners. One group that is experiencing increased risk for HIV infection is Black and Latino men who have sex with men (MSM). This session will address the specific sexual health experiences of MSM of color in multiple communities. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Describe the five leading HIV risk factors specific to Black and Latino men who have sex with men (MSM). 2. Understand how cultural and social contexts interact in the sexual lives of Black and Latino MSM. 3. Recognize differential sexual health concerns for Black and Latino MSM. | |||
