Children and adolescents either living with HIV or behaviorally exposed to HIV pose unique challenges and developmental concerns, both in the areas of prevention and treatment. Posters in this session will describe determinants of risk behavior among adolescents, pregnancy among adolescent women, and concerns about HIV/AIDS disclosure and treatment among children in various settings. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Assess 4 determinants of HIV-related risk behavior among adolescents. 2. Evaluate the findings of 2 representative samples of children affected by HIV. | |||
