This session hopes to demonstrate a better understanding of the contribution of community/system change to addressing risk factors for diabetes that can lead to changes in population-level indicators of diabetes, as well as access to care for diabetes. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the presentation the attendee will be able to: 1. Identify technological approaches to assisting with type 2 diabetes self-management. 2. Define community/systems change for preventing risk for diabetes. 3. Discuss the integration of public health strategies into a traditional health care system. | |||
