Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant in this session will be able to: 1. Discuss gender-based violence and coerced sex in various cultural settings and identify issues with reporting mechanisims, barriers to care and prevention and how it is addressed in a clinical setting. 2. Discuss female genital cutting in Egypt, its practice by physicians and relevant human rights issues. 3. Discuss organizational collaborations in the context of gender-based violence prevention and identify ways to implement such collaborations. | |||
