Experiences and Exercises in Responding to Epidemics and Bioterror Events
This session will describe the process for developing a tabletop exercise, how to use a tabletop exercise to evaluate a community's preparedness for pandemics or bieterrorist attacks and ways to incorporate the use of communications technology to simulate response during an emergency.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to describe: 1) the process for developing a tabletop exercise; 2) how to use a tabletop exercise to evaluate a community's preparedness for pandemics or bieterrorist attacks and 3) ways to incorporate the use of communications technology to simulate response during an emergency.
