Collaborative efforts often result in improved results and in times of reduced resources collaboration often saves time and money. In times of disaster, collaboration is a key ingredient in successful health education efforts. Speakers in this session will address collaborative efforts between health educators and a number of other disciplines (e.g., nursing). Presenters will also address the need for collaboration and preparation for collaboration in public health preparedness. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Discuss the benefits and challenges of establishing effective collaborative relationships between disciplines. 2. Assess the potential impact of collaborative relationships in the clinical, public health, and private sectors. | |||
