This session focuses on the importance of information dissemination and methods used to deliver the message to the intended audience. Presenters will describe the use of technology in message delivery and how the use of that technology was evaluated. Specifically, presenters will discuss e-mail and telephone message delivery and the use of social networks. Several presenters within this session will also discuss approaches to knowledge dissemination within the public health classroom. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Assess the impact of technology on the dissemination of health information. 2. Discuss the role of social networks on health information dissemination. 3. Describe techniques for knowledge dissemination within the public health classroom. | |||
