We routinely invest in our health – whether as individuals, employers, or governments. All too often we don’t look adequately at the impact of the investments we make, whether it is the individual getting cost effective care or the international organization being able to maximize the number of lives saved from its investments. In this session we look at different approaches to evaluating the impact of health care investments from domestic US/Canadian hospitalizations, to individual country-level programs in Africa, and finally the global initiatives such as the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. | |||
