Promoting and Protecting the Rights of the Child
The US is one of very few countries that have not ratified the rights of the child treaty. In this session we look at different aspects of the rights of the child in different parts of the world and from different perspectives – starting with the right of girl children and the practice of genital cutting, and looking at medical practice standards, and the value of professional associations.
