In the last year the world has been spellbound by the fear of Avian Influenza becoming a human pandemic. To-date those fears have been groundless, but much has been learned about the animal disease and the likelihood of jumping to the human population. In this session we will visit some of the events of the past year and look at what the future year may have to bring in terms of pandemic preparedness. | |||
