In this session we will explore different aspects of financing of pharmaceuticals, particularly with a focus on how we make cost-effective choices at the individual and community level. We start with exploring issues of contraceptive security and what progress has been made in recent years. We go on to look at the key financial considerations related to Antiretroviral Therapy, both through the choices we make and securing the supply chain. Finally we review the experience of revolving drug funds in different settings. | |||
