International women's health is an important priority for the Women's Caucus. This session will feature presentations on important issues negatively influencing women's health in international settings. These issues include access to care, physical violence, female feticide, cervical cancer, and breast cancer. | |||
Learning Objectives: By the end of the session, participants will be able to (1) identify facilitating factors and barriers to obtaining timely and quality health services among women living in countries other than the U.S.; and (2) describe future research directions and policy implications from a women's/human rights perspective in international settings. | |||
