Global climate change has become an issue that can't be ignored. The impacts on human health of climate change and the ethical arguments made to connect consumer and industrial practices to adverse impacts to people in developing nations will be discussed by presenters in this session. Participants will learn more about the human rights, health and environmental causes of global climate change. | |||
Learning Objectives: 1. Explore the interrelationships between global environmental change and human health impacts. 2. To learn the ethical challenges presented when comparing those countries causing global warming from those most at risk of the impacts. 3. Learn about innovative policies and programs to increase benefits and decrease costs of climate change and public health. | |||
